Get answers to common questions about Lash Tint.
A Lash Tint typically lasts four to six weeks, depending on your natural lash growth cycle and aftercare. Retouch appointments are recommended every four to six weeks to maintain intensity. Factors like exfoliation, oil-based products, and swimming can shorten the tint's longevity.
A Lash Tint can be safe for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers when performed professionally using gentle pigments. We recommend disclosing contact lens use, removing lenses before treatment, and completing a patch test 24–48 hours prior to confirm no allergic reaction.
Properly applied Lash Tinting does not inherently damage natural lashes. Professional technicians use gentle pigments and techniques to protect lash integrity. Avoid rubbing, harsh removers, and oil-based products immediately after treatment. Give lashes recovery time between tints and follow recommended appointment intervals.
After a Lash Tint, avoid water, steam, saunas, and eye makeup for the first 24 hours to allow pigments to set. Use gentle, oil-free cleansers and avoid rubbing lashes. Protect tint longevity by skipping oil-based products and scheduling regular retouches as advised.
While you can wear mascara after a Lash Tint, it's generally unnecessary. Wait at least 24 hours before applying mascara, choose water-based formulas, and remove gently. Avoid oil-based removers which can fade the tint more quickly.
A Lash Tint can often be combined with a Lash Lift in the same visit, with many technicians tinting immediately after the lift. If you have sensitive eyes, technicians may recommend waiting 24–48 hours. Always consult your technician to determine the best safe timing.
